Josephine's Birthday

As if you didn't know it already, gifts are fun at our house. Sometimes when you're given a gift there's this attitude of, "Is that it?" As a result, we make the wrapping as fun as the gift. This was Josephine's birthday gift this year. Hmmm nothing suspicious - yet.

Pretty black patterened paper with a nice red ribbon. Very pretty.

She removed the lid and started opening the assortment of packages inside. When she was done with the contents, Travers told her to open "the rest of it." If you look closely at the box, the sides and lid are thick. Travers had purchased her 5 frames for some Disney prints. We wrapped each one individually in newspaper then duct-taped them to form a 4 sided box. We lined the inside with some red paper and wrapped the outside with the black & white. For the lid, we wrapped a small spice set in cardboard then in the wrapping paper. It sat perfectly on top of our box. She was surprised and pleased with her package. The girl has vowed "payback!!" She needs to bone up on her Old Testament. It is not eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. :-)
